Hello All, in my zest to get out the good news, many have had the same question as I do...will I need further treatment? Is this it?
The answer is I don't know. I still have an appointment on Oct.4 to meet with the surgeon and with an oncologist. I'm thinking that there will be some type of treatment because this cancer is a grade 3/3.
I've buried my head in the sand on much of this because it's been a tsunami of information but my guess is that some follow up treatment will be in order. So I will have to wait until Oct 4 to find out.
I am basking in the good news. It helped to have early detection, it helped to go to an international cancer hospital, it REALLY helped that I got selected to go to the AMIGO operating suite and was part of a trial looking for just my size tumor and my cancer... It helped to have everyone rooting for me and praying and thinking healing thoughts. It all matters....
Thank you all, the journey is still continuing but it's nice to have some anxiousness gone.
